This blog post reveals those things that I think are most important in determining your search engine rankings when it comes to backlinks.
Note: This blog is about backlinking so I will not discuss the other seo ranking factors that determine your rankings.
- Who links to your site.
- Who links to the pages that link to your site
- Who your site links to.
- The quality of the site that links to you.
- Your anchor text.
- The diversity of your backlinks. Examples are bookmarking sites, blogs, directories,forums, etc. The more diverse the better your rankings will be.
- The age of your domain. You will get a big boost in rankings if your site is 3 years or older.
Although this is factor it is not a big factor unless you are going after a very competitive keyword. In fact....It is my opinion that if you have the right link building strategy you will easily out rank sites with 10x, 20x, or even 100x more backlinks than are pointed at your site.
This is a fact that most so-called seo experts do not understand. It is the quality and structure that is most important not the quantity.
When it comes time for you to choose your seo link building service be sure not to pick the cheapest one, but instead, choose the best and most effective backlink campaigns for your seo needs.
